Kingsbury Texas has an air museum that included vintage cars.  The planes fly and the cars run because of a group of dedicated volunteers who enjoy working on antique planes and cars.  This model T is called Charlotte's Girl after the owner

Grounded

There is a beauty in the process of nature eventually overtaking the best and brightest achievements of engineers, architects, builders and dreamers.  This painting of an abandoned ERCO Ercoupe airplane sitting in someone's back yard caught my eye last week.  The home owners were gracious enough to allow me to set up my gear when I explained to them why I thought it would make a great painting.

The washed out appearance of the color pallet hopefully gets across the feeling of the triple digit temperatures on the day I painted.
